Thank you so much for the great hospitality. It was so nice to come to a homely surroundings after being on a truck for 6 weeks.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cape Town, although not long enough. Susan and Alun are great hosts making us feel very welcome & adding to the enjoyment of our Holiday. Nice private accommodation at the back.

...is wearing half a melon on your head on the streets of CT on New Years eve, barely 2hrs after meeting your guests a fine example? Yes i thinkit is and hopefully next time the bouncer on the door will be of the same opinion.
Many thanks for your hospitality in your nice house. After all that travelling we have done through SA it was relaxing to have a morning swim in the pool.
The private atmosphere was very nice. We recommend your guest house further. These holidays will be for a long time in our memory.
Days morphed into one another creating an endless sunrise... sunset... moonrise.... moonset, wish upon the stars, dreamy atmosphere. In which the only constants were Susan's unending warmth and Alun's raving story telling talents.
Nothing compares to the mid-night swims, climbs up lions head. It has been an excellent few days. "out of control" on numerous occasions, but nothing broken, not even the underwater radio (yellow does mean it's underwater, doesn't it?).
The Sunset + moon was a sight I will always remember, from both Lions Head and La Med along with the South African girls.
A home away from home with pool, cold beers, hospitality and everything at your finger tips. What more could you ask for.
We "saw" Cape Town last year, this year we REALLY saw Cape Town. Thanks to Susan and Alun we both have had a wonderful Holiday, we will never forget.
Anywhere with beer permanently available, a view of Table Mountain and Friendly hosts, has got to be great. You definately got all three here!
If you're planning to take a trip overland up Africa then this is the place to start - the advice is worth its weight in gold!! The only trouble is that you'll sit around the pool, cruise round the Cape Town bars and suddenly the overland trip doesn't sound so good. Thanks.
Unforgettable! During one week, when we stay here, we have had so much joy. The nice evenings, sitting around the fire, drinking beer and listening to your fascinating stories about touring in Africa.
Great Christmas dinner, great absailing, great picnic, great New Year Party. . . great hosts !!!

This is our first stay in Cape Town an it is so good we will savour it for a long time. Love everything about your house...full or wonderful treasures.

This place makes staying in Cape Town easy and going home hard.
I didn't realise when I called from the City Centre that I would be staying in the Best Place in South Afrca.
..this place is not just a backpacker or usual accommodation, it's a place to live in a friendly house.
Why slum it out in Long Street when there's an "alternative". Best backpackers that we have visited in the Cape.
Thanks for a wonderful homely stay. it's wonderful when you find yourself in a place where you can relax and do things at your own pace.
You've been our home away from home & after much traveling can safely say that you guys set the standard that all backpackers should strive for.
